What to do

So I love my dog, I really do. She's sweet and loving and wags profusly when we come home, but. . . She did this the other day And I don't know how to make her stop jumping, now that she's bigger than Grace when she's on her hind legs. When did she get so big? Needless to say, Grace got over it and her face will heal. One more thing I sould mention is that I wanted to take a Christmas picture for our cards to send out to Family and Friends. Well, I think I got the lighting just right and you can't really tell she has two black eyes. . . Don't call CPS on me

Not so funny bone

You might laugh, I just hit my funny bone on the desk. Why is that funny? Can anyone tell me why I'm reeling in agony, but honestly find it funny. Are all bones this way? Are there only certain "funny" bones, or are there mad bones and sad bones too? Okay, I think I'm done laughing, and it doesn't hurt too much anymore.
This picture was taken over the summer. She doesn't look much different, except that those pants would look like shorts on her now. She's got very long legs. We got these same bikes at daycare and the kids love them. Do you think that my tall drink of water could peddle? No, she just can't seem to figure it out. Is there some sort of class for that? Better luck next year

Another baby, but this time. . .

(sorry, this is not our baby) So, we had our ultrasound, or should I say, I got jelly gooped on my belly and jabbed in the bladder after drinking 40 oz of water in about 20 minutes so that we could find out we're having. . . a boy. It was very obvious. Eric would like to say that it was overly obvious, but the baby's the size of an avocado which means his pee pee is the size of, well, an avocado's pee pee. Our first boy, probably our last child. Mommy and Daddy are excited and already arguing about names, but one will come around, I know it. And Grace is looking forward to her "liddow brudder" as well.

It's been awhile

I never thought I would be one of those mom's that has "too much to do" even though they don't work. Guess what?! I'm her. Seriously, what is it that takes up my time? Grace is two now and she can generally entertain herself, especially now that we have a dog. So a few moments of crowd control through the day and what else can I be doing? I swear. The day gets wrapped up somewhere in space and I have no control over it.

Babies

So I had my first "real" doctor's appt. yesterday and it's a whole lotta fun. Not really, but I did get to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time, 150. The midwife said my uterus was the size of a small cantaloupe. I think that sounds big, anyone? It really makes you come to grips with reality. I'm having another baby. Your mindset changes. Your thinking changes and you start to think of things to do that you hadn't thought about ever, or at least for the last two years. It's going to be fun. A new baby is always fun. I can't wait to see his or her eyes and whole they will look like. It really is the most amazing thing ever. So ... who's next?
