Happy Fathers Day?

Sooo, I feel bad because I didn't get anything for Eric for fathers day, his 4th year as a father and I couldn't find anything. I looked for tires for the car, but didn't want to spend 500 dollars. So even though when purchasing this it wasn't intended to be for fathers day I think he kinda likes it. Mario Kart fun Grace can play Noah can smuggle her chocolate milk and I can have fun watching it all happen

Read my Rants

I get the blog title now, but I'm not sure you are quite as ranty as I am right now. Pediatrician I'll say that first and you'll know you're really in for it. Called this morning to get Noah's ears checked from the last infection (he's been tugging a bit so I thought, eh you know) The nurse says "we have an opening for 1:35 pm", me "do you have anything earlier?" nurse says "No, all booked" So the plan is, We ALL go to the doctor, ears checked, my friend Patti picks me up at the office and we go to our girls movie (I can't miss that) We are on our way at 1:20 after waking noah from an early nap so we can get into this only available appointment(early even). I'm looking through my wallet for the health savings account card, find an appointment card for Noah for 1050 am on June 29th... huh? He was sceduled for his 15 month appt TODAY! The woman at the desk said, well if the girl who makes the calls is sick, the calls don't...

Let's go surfin now

I'm outa here This was meant to be Lucy's pool, but Noah thought it suited him. Off with the hat Meanwhile back in the big pool Grace is turning into a mexican We are having a fun summer. Hope you are too.

Haters

Remember when "hater" was a term you heard a lot? I do, and I kinda miss it. Maybe I'll bring it back. Maybe I'll stop doing things that make me one, or stop listening to people who I think are ones... maybe maybe maybe I wish I had some photos for you, or something exciting to talk about I wish Jon & frickin Kate didn't keep on coming up in conversation, and I also wish I didn't care. They chose this life, their life, to be on TV so why wouldn't I watch it like any other show? Seriously, Women's bible study talking about Jezabel. Ha Jezabel and how she treated her whiny, cry baby, I can't do it myself so can you do it for me husband. Read it if you wish in 1&2 Kings. Everywhere I go I hear about this couple. We should have made them president because I bet more people would tune in. Also, I think Eric needs to come home. I wouldn't have time for this much thought if he were here. I'm not sure what that says about him, but oh well. ...

Note to you

Although I don't mind if others like "sweet" tea, I don't. But I think I made something good. Tangerine tea with simple syrup. uh oh It's kinda good. A little bit addicting. And...it's summertime. which equals tea time. Anyone?

Family

Here we are, in Cheboygan

just so you know

I obviously love reading all of your blogs too. I actually know you all and have seen your faces and your children and feel a little bit closer to you than MckMama. Thank you for allowing me into your lives through your blog writings.

feeling....

So, I've been reading this woman's blog. You may have heard of her MckMama. Thank you Laura. I really love reading it and best of all, she has AMAZING pictures. She is a photographer by trade I believe. She's christian, she has 4 children with trendy clothing, eats healthy. I started reading about her little boy Stellan who was born with heart problems. He wasn't supposed to live to his birth, but he did, he goes to the doctor all of the time and wears a heart monitor at night, takes medication everyday ALL day and is now 6 months old...still alive. I'm praying for him and his family. All that said, how can I feel inadequate to this woman who has had so many trials and been tested beyond anything I can imagine? I don't know how to be like her. I also don't know how to not WANT to be like her. Is she my idol? Why? Do you have moments like this? What to do? What to do? I'll keep reading striving not to be like her, but to be my best me. The best mom, best ...

Who needs a jungle gym?

Noah is figuring out a lot of new things these days. He likes to do it himself. Here are some pictures of the big boy sitting in a seat and dropping his juice. You can see what he does all by himself withought help from mommy. Yes, those are his PJ's...forgive me.
