Why do I think so hard about a title?

Here's what we're up to Sleeping Eating Being Silly Growing bigger every day Raking Hitting Deer Car searching Playing with the camera Crawling Having a big sister Standing and sleeping

I can't resist

Bath time fun in Arizona I'm in a basket and you can't see me. Apple Cider donuts just might be a little too good Lucy Baby Fall fun 2007

kates computer

Here are a few pictures from my sister's computer. I'm beginning to think people are hoarding pictures. I love Grace. It was hard to find a picture that she wasn't smiling too hard in. Grace and Andrew are kindered spirits, with a little devil in each of them. Icouldn't pass up the beautiful eyes Looks like it's time for a new Christmas picture with all four kids

What I found

I realized recently that Eric has all of the pictures from Grace's first year of life on his computer. I am sitting at it right now and thought I would share just a few.

My big girl

Today I have a preschooler... ...with an enormous backpack

Boredom

These are things I find my three year old doing. She climbs into Noah's crib the minute he starts crying Daddy has an array of masks for her to try on in his office. (the princess shirt's a nice touch I thought) Elvis has returned to the building. And boredom ensues when we have a car ride longer than an hour. She found the swim vest and put it on without myself or Eric knowing (while buckled) And if that wasn't good enough, after a panic attack from not being able to get the swim vest off without Mommy's help, she put it on her head. Noah gets the brunt of it on occasion. This was before she took his diaper off to "clean his butt" She loves him a lot And she makes him want to bite his hand off. No really, he loves her

Changes

To those of you bugging me to add some pictures or something (clearing throat)...Heidi. Here you are, just a few Noah at 4 1/2 months or if you prefer Bubba And Grace the aspiring actress catching up on some very important reading almost 3 years

New Post

I've been looking at this blog for awhile thinking about what exactly it's about. I don't know, but it helps to know it's here when I need to write out something I can't express vocally. Eric got a contract to a church in a town close to my parents and two of his brothers. I don't think we're taking it. I can't decide whether I'm really sad, or if I'm being selfish by wanting to move. We won't stay in Saginaw forever. I have actually come around to liking it here because of the people we know, but I wouldn't mind moving to someplace I feel like I fit in. I told Eric I think we're changing our personalities to make ourselves belong here and I don't think God intended that. There isn't a good reason to move now, but I can't imagine our kids starting school and then moving after they become established. I guess we'll see what happens after Eric's year of school. Until then. I think I'm home
Happy Fathers Day I'm less than a week late!!

What makes you happy?

Here are my kids Grace, she's a ham and Noah, he's my bubba They both have four names and so far Grace fits hers. We'll see about Noah in a couple of years. I love that they love each other. Grace says aaaawwww everytime she sees her brother and Noah smiles at her everytime she's around and he isn't hungry. My husband is the head of our house and he serves God for a living. Not always in costume. This all makes me happy.

Mothers

Happy Mothers Day

The grandmas are coming the grandmas are coming

Grace gets so excited when anyone comes to visit that we have to tell her she has "special friends" coming instead of who it really is. This weekend is Noah's baptism and we have a lot of "special friends" coming. She's so excited she just keeps on saying Grace: "Mommy, I have something to tell you" Me: "Yes?" Grace: "I have special friends coming?" Me: "Yes you do" Grace: "Oh, okay" You can see the wheels turning in her head just contemplating who and when these special friends are going to magically appear and play with her. Needless to say, I am excited about the special friends too! I need to get out more.

Cranky Baby

So Noah went in for his two week appointment today. Someone had to stay home with Grace because she was sleeping. I got to go with Noah because I carry the milk with me at all times and Eric stayed home. Noah was sleeping until I had to take all of his clothing off and weigh him and measure him. It took the doctor 20 minutes to get into the room in which time I really had to use the bathroom. I left with Noah to use the facilities and Noah screamed the entire time. SCREAMED! Beet red screaming. All the while the doctore was looking at hime Yelling to ask questions. Me: sweating and more than likely leaking from all of the baby cries. I got home and he had fallen asleep in the car. Grace was sleeping Eric was on the computer I had a dentist appointment that I went to Worried about leaving a cranky baby I was antsy to get out of there. An hour later I came home to a silent home. Noah was STILL sleeping, Grace JUST woke up and Eric did the DISHES. Do you ever feel as though you may be bei...

One more for today

Here's Noah. . . I was trying to take a picture for the announcement card I would like to make. . . I think he thought it was time to eat. . . Needless to say, none of them work for me. . . What do you think?

What's better?

This is my family. And, I'm pretty sure this is it. It is so beautiful to me I think I will post it here to remember it all the time. Thanks for looking

Open up your mind and see like me

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYhrYHmUPn0&feature=fvw Okay, if you have time you must see this most beautiful man in all of his glory. Sara, I saw that you put up a post about a song and the lyrics must have spoken to you. Well, I have no trouble saying that not only did these lyrics speak to me but also Jason himself. You can tell Eric too. I think Sara you may be the only one who can attest to this, and possibly my husband, yes Eric, but think of every guy I have ever been attracted to sans Eric Now watch I just think of them all watching this and thinking, could she be thinking of me? LOL

How many first days are there?

I rememer hearing it around graduation time, both from high school and college and I didn't think much of it. Today is the first day of the rest of your life? I thought it all on my own today. Sitting in front of the tv while having a little Mommy Doggy time with Lucy I thought you know, I've had a lot of first days. Not only graduation, but well before that. Starting my life, school, leaving school, my first boyfriend, kiss, drive, job. Since I've been married I can't tell you how many firsts there have been, I honestly can't remember them all. But tomorow for some reason sticks out as a big first day. My son is being born, My daughter won't be "it" anymore, my husband will have a baby boy, my mom will have two grand sons and I'll be a new mom again. I thought of Moses and how many first he must have had. Two "mothers", two families, and then what it must have been like to come to the realization that he was not who he thought he was. Th...

What ever happened to The Polka-Dot-Door?

To all of you who were raised on TV shows like Mr. Rogers, CareBears , or even My Little Pony BEWARE I think it must have happened by mistake, but I wasn't paying attention to what Grace was watching and it all fell apart. Grace was watching Dora or Diego or something innocent like that and I must have been doing laundry, or dishes or something unnecessary like that. Well, in the afternoon, if your child is watching Nickelodeon and those "innocent" shows are over, you need to take heed. Turn the channel and never go back. Big kids get home from school and like to watch things like Avatar, The power of Juju , El Tigre , Scooby Doo (which Grace loves as well) But worst of all, SpongeBob SquarePants What happened to all the good shows? Where has quality Television gone? I could have PBS on all day. but not even I would do that to my child. At any rate, My sweet, precious, little girl is in love with Spongebob Squarepants Although Eric and I can sit and laugh at the w...
