Here is my three-year-old...
This is a normal face.
I take lots of pictures of happy faced children
running and playing
having a blast, but
The faces not being photographed more often look like these.
I could feel bad about this, and I could give up on making her happy, but
I won't
I used to hate when, during a tantrum, people would say, "it's a girl thing"
I wanted to pull these people's mouths up over their heads and scream,
"IT'S A THREE-YEAR-OLD THING"
I have come to understand that yes, it may in fact be a little bit of a girl thing but that my little boy has "boy things" as well that I'm sure will only get worse with age.
Saying all this just leads me to my main point...

I don't often wonder where she gets it from.
