thinking

so, i'm thinking and i'm letting it all out, well, not ALL, but i'm letting my brain drain right here. i worry too much, anyone with me on this? when i became a mother it all started to wash over me. the thoughts of death i had never had before and thoughts of my kids not liking me. my parents are getting older and i hate the thought of being too far from them. i'm living a life here, but not really LIVING, you know. i hope this isn't IT, but i'm afraid it is. we're waiting for the next best thing and when you wait too long you start to feel like ANYTHING would be next best, and that's not always true... grace is becoming a young girl and i like it and don't all at once. she changes me and the dynamic we have. noah is ALL BOY as they say and i have no idea how to handle him, so i worry he'll turn out "bad" i can say that my relationship with eric probably couldn't be better than it is. we are on the same page with life issues and wh...

Happy Birthday to Noah

What a little Steinke you were, looking a lot like your Opa on your birth day And Grandma was there to hold you just like she was for Micah two years later When you turned 1 you were a happy boy at Duck Lake in Mommys lap. And now you're 2! And still Mommys happy boy. We love you sweet boy and look forward to everyday you grow and challenge us to think like Noah would.

Meet Micah

Noah was a little hesitant at first, but wanted to see the "bay bee" Oh, I can touch him too? I think I kinda like this kid...and my Grandma Grace never wanted to give him back. So, welcome to the world little Micah Giger, we can't wait to see how you grow and learn. We love you!!
Here it is, the long awaited video from the arrival of our new "BIG" bed. I noticed that I'm breathing pretty hard in the video, it's because I was fighting a cold, not because I have that hard of a time walking up the stairs. Although Eric and Ben show signs of fatigue too, but they actually did the work... so here you go, I hope it makes you laugh a little.

kids these days

why is it that when things seem to be going good it always seems to go bad, quick. Say a little prayer for our friend from church. He's in Erics youth group and he's got some issues to work through, so does his mom. He's taken some wrong paths, but always ends up back at church, which is a good thing. It kind of seems now like mom and step-dad have given up on him and want Eric to do the work that is really their responsibility and can only be handled by a parent. Granted, parents can ask for help, but don't shove the kid off at church and expect it to work itself out. Also pray for Eric, for the spirit to work through him and show this family how important their son is and how much he is loved. thanks
